Day-to-day of the role:

• Take full responsibility for managing all aspects of a busy retail store, ensuring operational excellence.
• Lead and develop a highly effective team, focusing on operational, customer service, and team skills to exceed performance goals.
• Ensure the store offers the right range, quality, and availability of products, aligning with brand standards and customer expectations to foster community loyalty.
• Drive the implementation of new product lines and promotions, such as Food to Go, ensuring they meet standards and sales targets.
• Manage resources effectively to align staff hours with peak customer times and address any operational challenges with sustainable solutions.
• Uphold stringent safety and legal standards, particularly in food safety, hygiene, and regulated goods sales, through continuous team training and store management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven background in retail management, preferably within the grocery sector.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and leading teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• High commercial awareness with the ability to drive store performance and maximise revenue.
• Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the customers and the business.
