Workshop Controller Bristol

£45,000 per annum Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to take the lead in a busy HGV fleet workshop. If you’re someone who loves keeping things running smoothly, supporting a great team, and making sure vehicles are safe, compliant, and ready to go, this could be your next move.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and supporting a team of technicians and apprentices
• Overseeing inspections, MOTs, servicing, and repairs
• Ensuring all work meets DVSA and Operator Licence standards
• Managing workshop performance, parts, and costs
• Promoting a positive, safety-first culture

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience leading an HGV workshop or fleet maintenance team
• Strong technical knowledge of HGVs, diagnostics, and repairs
• Confident leader who’s organised and calm under pressure
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) – IRTEC or CPC would be a bonus
