Essential requirements for the role: Valid GDC registration National Diploma in Dental Nursing (or equivalent). At least 6 months experience working within a Dental Nursing role.
What skills are we looking for?Clinical duties: Assist the dentist: Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures. Prepare the patient: Make sure the patient is comfortable and monitor them during treatment. Prepare instruments Maintain infection control: Sterilize instruments, maintain the cleanliness of the surgery, and follow cross-infection control procedures. Process X-rays: Take and process dental radiographs (if qualified) and maintain records.
Other administrative duties: Record-keeping Stock control Appointment management Equipment maintenance
