Indiana Jones & The Dial of Destiny hits theatres this Wednesday. We got an exclusive preview and, wow, we were not disappointed. It was simply amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the film. It was a beautiful finale to the Indiana Jones [Harrison Ford] saga. The casting was absolutely excellent.
“No one’s like him. Everything he does is a part of who he is. I don’t think there’s artifice around much of what he does. Clearly, he’s performing, but, as he would say himself, he’s playing. He’s pretending. He’s doing something that I think he did long before he even became an actor. I think that that’s always been at the core of his performances and why he’s so relatable.” [Kennedy]
The film was brilliantly scripted and directed. A true tour de force. Everything you would hope to get from an Indiana Jones films, and it delivered so much more! The film had you on the edge of your seats, and threw you into creative landscapes, which kept you wanting more!
Mads Mikkelsen plays a phenomenal villain and Indiana Jones arch nemesis. The chemistry between the two actors is sublime. We then have Antonio Banderas who offers up a fantastic cameo appearance, with a style of humour, and attention to detail which elevates the film even more!
My only critique would be looking back to the original trailers that first graced our feed, I felt they unfortunately did not fully capture the brilliant story of this film, and really hype the film up for the resounding success it is.
It is by far THE FILM TO SEE THIS SUMMER.. 5 stars!!!
