    The Role:

    So, what will you be doing as a Technical Services Manager?

    • Guarantee adherence to statutory and company protocols across all stakeholder groups, implementing a proactive approach and mindset in the mechanical department to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
    • Offer expert guidance on-site, demonstrating proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical systems while ensuring the competence, training, and development of the team.
    • Ensure the delivery of appropriate, compliant solutions, and efficient customer service.
    • Manage a workforce with a mechanical focus and provide support in managing other disciplines as required.
    • Collaborate with operational leads to continuously enhance service delivery across all services.
    • Lead the Technical Services Supervisor in effectively managing and engaging operational staff.
    • Ensure timely completion of all planned maintenance tasks, efficiently manage reactive works, and minimize their volume and duration.
    • Introduce innovative approaches to enhance maintenance strategies.
    • Update record drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals.

    Who are we looking for?

    • An ambitious individual to enhance the expertise and dynamics of the FM team.
    • Capable of showcasing adaptability and effectiveness in addressing evolving business needs and fostering positive working relationships with team members.
    • Background in a technical management role within a healthcare setting.
    • Proficient in people management and engagement.
    • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, with prior FM experience in a hospital or PFI environment.
    • Thorough understanding of risk assessment and workplace safety.
    • Possession of a Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely.
