We are working with a FTSE 250 Healthcare business; they are on the look for out for an experienced Technical Security Analyst due to growth. This business is currently undergoing large scale transformation and IT maturity, and security enhancement is high on the agenda. Working on a mix of BAU & Project work, you will get your teeth in a variety of areas.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Security Analyst, you will
- Evaluate the effectiveness and coverage of security products and tooling to continuously monitor and protect company assets
- Assess and respond to external threat intelligence reports
- Conducting internal audits of security controls in place developed/supported/ implemented by the company’s technical infrastructure and development teams
- Implement and improve technical processes to create efficient and secure methodologies
Requirements:
As a Technical Security Analyst, you will need
- You will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar technical IT Security role involving a broad range of tech including some of the following:
- Knowledge & understanding of security principles surrounding SIEM, Antivirus, DLP, Firewalls, Open-Source Filtering tools, Cloud security (Azure), IdAM (PAM on-prem/cloud), EDR, Scanning/vulnerability tools, etc.
- Windows Server & Networking
- Incident response
- Endpoint and network security technologies
- Extensive knowledge of IT Security and Governance best practices and industry standards, including, but not limited to, ISO27001, NIST etc
