Project Manager – Qatar Service Facility Build

    The Project Manager will be
    responsible for overseeing the construction and build-out of the new Qatar
    Service Facility. This role will involve coordination with contractors,
    management of project timelines, and ensuring all aspects of the build meet our
    high standards of quality and safety. Upon completion of the construction
    phase, the Project Manager will transition into the role of Qatar Service
    Center Manager, where they will oversee the operational aspects of the
    facility. This role is a unique opportunity to not only lead a critical build
    project but also to grow into a key operational leadership position within the
    company. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional who is ready

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning and implementation of the
      facility build project.
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope,
      goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop full-scale project plans and associated
      communications documents.
    • Effectively communicate project expectations to
      team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
    • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing
      basis.
    • Estimate the resources and participants needed
      to achieve project goals.
    • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend
      subsequent budget changes where necessary.
    • Plan and schedule project timelines and
      milestones using appropriate tools.
    • Track project milestones and deliverables.
    • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals,
      requirements documentation, and presentations.
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope,
      identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
    • Define project success criteria and disseminate
      them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
    • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project
      team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and
      accountability for their assigned work.
    • Collaborate with the business development teams
      to identify and pursue new repair opportunities in Qatar and the Middle East
      region

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction
      management, or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of proven experience in
      project management, specifically in construction or facility builds.
    • Experience with balancing of rotating machines,
      machining, inspections and technical repair processes is preferred.
    • Strong familiarity with project management
      software and tools.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and
      negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage high
      levels of responsibility.
    • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
      is preferred.

    Transition to Facility Manager:
    Upon successful completion of the build, the Project Manager will assume the
    role of Service Center Manager, with responsibilities including:

    • Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of
      the facility related to rotating equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Ensuring the facility meets industry standards
      and all compliance requirements.
    • Overseeing facility maintenance and
      improvements.
    • Managing facility staff and ensuring high levels
      of team performance and customer service.
