Inspire People is working with a large public sector client looking for an Mobile Application Tester with strong experience in automation testing tools (Espresso, Postman, Proxy, Charles) incl. using Microsoft Tools and Technologies, with expert knowledge of Mobile Application testing on Android (using Kotlin for testing automation). Up to £437 per day INSIDE IR35. 12 months (approx. 235 working days) with hybrid working (up to 2 days a week) in London. The Mobile Application Tester will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
Extensive experience of collaborating with software development teams in multi-vendor environments to incrementally deliver systems that are tested efficiently and of high quality Extensive experience of leading the testing of complex systems under significant pressures of time and cost Extensive experience of appropriate documentation techniques for functional and non-functional testing that match customer expectation and that can be used by systems development teams in the production of high quality software Broad experience of the full systems development life cycle in an agile environment Broad experience in Automation or Performance testing Broad experience in test artefacts such as test case and defects
Key Knowledge and skills required for this role are:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex information with agile development Teams including the test design and defect reporting.
- Strong experience in automation testing tools such as Espresso, Postman, Proxy, Charles.
- Expert knowledge of Mobile Application testing specifically on the Android platform.
- Expert knowledge of using Kotlin for test automation
- Expert knowledge of continuous integration
- Expert knowledge of test case creation and maintenance
- Demonstrable experience of working on back office transactional systems
