We provide a service that scopes the whole project process from planning and design to construction and maintenance. Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced, positive thinking, machinery operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a range of machinery, particularly excavators, and will assist in the delivery of local projects but also be willing to work and stay away if required. This role demands technical skill, physical fitness and a positive attitude towards site and environmental safety. We are looking for somebody who is happy to work outdoors, with a positive work ethic and a practical approach. You will be involved in the practical delivery of environmental enhancement projects. You will be expected to adhere to site health and safety and environmental safety standards. You will receive ongoing training and development in all tasks with great opportunity for development and progression. The position could suit somebody wishing to move from a standard land-based career to one with more environmental focus. Work is varied and interesting with completed projects providing fantastic job satisfaction and a real sense of achievement. 45-hour standard week plus additional hours when required. Weekend working is occasionally required when critical stages are reached within projects. This is a full-time position, but we can offer a flexible approach where possible to working hours. Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate machinery, including excavators, dumpers, and various other machinery safely and efficiently. • Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting. • Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately. • Engage in physical labour as necessary to support project goals. • Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and quality standards. • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. • Travel to various project sites as needed. Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a Machinery Operator, with a focus on excavator operation. • Up-to-date excavator qualification and relevant certifications. • Polite and the ability to perform physical tasks when required. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to travel and work away from home if required (current requirements vay but can be 6 to 10 weeks/year). • Valid UK driver s license. Preferred Qualifications:
    • Additional qualifications or certifications in machinery operation and first aid. • Experience in river and wetland restoration, construction, working in and around water and pond and lake construction. • Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations. What We Offer:
