Manufacturing Technician Core Slurry V-Blend 2nd Shift

    A Snapshot of Your Day

    Will be working with slurry mixing and blending operations according to daily production requirements. Also, will review all slurry production and batch records, release slurries for molding usage, and monitor all equipment systems to produce parts of exceptional quality in the Gibsonton Florida location.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Trained and signed off on Demonstrated Skills Check List for Mercury, Slurry Technician and V-Blend Technician operations. Will complete Loto training and will be certified on motorized lift and forklifts in the building.
    • Will check the daily schedule for the number of bulk batches, weigh and measure all components, performing audits and basic housekeeping throughout shift.
    • Monitor and maintain good documentation practices.
    • Adjust machines, set controls, and perform troubleshooting as required by operational and quality criteria. Request work orders for any equipment not operating to standard.
    • Organizes and uses blending, slurry machine related tools, scales, pallet jacks, manipulators, hand tools, wrenches, allen wrenches, and screwdrivers.
    • Other duties and cross training as needed.

    What You Bring

    • High school graduate or GED.
    • Ability to read Engineering instructions.
    • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
    • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
