Job Description:Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Manager to join our team in Leek. If you have a passion for overseeing construction projects from start to finish and ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight:
Manage the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. - Resource Management:
Oversee site-based resources, including directly employed operatives and subcontractor personnel. Ensure efficient use of resources to meet project goals. - Site Setup:
Establish the site in compliance with safety and security measures. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment. - Project Delivery:
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, from pre-commencement to completion. Implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. - Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - Quality Assurance:
Monitor project progress and quality of work. Ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications. - Client Communication:
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. - Documentation:
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management, preferably in waste water and water treatment projects. - Certifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and a black or gold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card are essential. - Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. - Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
