Our client is a well established organisation who are looking for a Financial Director to work very closely with the MD to create, implement and deliver the strategy for the business. Working for the market leader in your market, you will be challenged to work to tight deadlines and drive commercial decisions for the success of the business.
Your new role
As the Financial Director, you will be leading the finance team, developing robust and efficient systems and processes to control the finances, and you will be analysing the performance of the business, so you can work with the MD to develop and implement the company strategy to drive financial performance. The successful candidate could be someone in a Financial Controller role with the ambition and confidence to take on an FD role or an experienced FD.
- Lead the Finance Function in the production of the full statutory, management and the close to tight deadlines.
- Driving efficiencies across the full accounting processes drive the performance of the business.
- Drive improvements in commercial information provided to the wider business to improve performance and profitability
- Track the full lifecycle of projects, working with operations to improve efficiencies
- Take proactive responsibility for the improvement of KPI’s by providing data to Management and action plans for improvement.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced accounting professional who is used to working at a senior level. You will have a number of years of post-qualified experience, ideally within the Manufacturing or Construction sectors. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and delivering in a corporate environment.
