PERMANENT ACCOUNT MANAGER/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT JOB – SHEFFIELD (WITH TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES!) £35000 + BONUS

An established, thriving business in Sheffield is recruiting an Account Manager to join the team. This is a new business development role, created due to success!
Your new role
You will be working in a very busy, fast-paced environment, customers and the service you provide will always be at the forefront of everything you do. 70% of this role will be to work on orders, from existing customers. You will liaise with production, the technical team and other parts of the business, enabling you to manage customer expectations and to maximise the whole experience by building rapport and introducing other relevant products to enhance their business.
You will conduct research with other potential customers and lapsed clients, the opportunities are endless. This role will also entail travel to the likes of Norway, Dubai and within the UK. These business trips will work around you, meeting customers face to face will be the key to success.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience of customer interaction and of building long-lasting business relationships. This is NOT a cold calling sales role, this is a Business Development position with the potential to progress. You will receive a competitive salary and, along with the rest of the business, a profit-related annual bonus, team work and everyone working towards the same goal is essential.
What you’ll need to succeed

- Excellent communication, attention to detail and organisational skills
- A genuine desire to succeed and travel, a real team player
- An inquisitive nature and rapport builder
- Ideally, you will have a driving licence.
