    What you’ll do

    As our Provisioning Manager, you’ll be vital to the successful delivery of our strategy and purpose. Through in-depth analysis, strategic foresight, and your credit risk expertise, you’ll work to support NW Boxed across the spectrum of impairments related activities.

    Day to day, you’ll:

    • Support NW Boxed on new client acquisitions and due diligence work
    • Manage monthly impairment processes and insight for NW Boxed alongside quarterly provision adequacy governance
    • Manage a monthly rolling forecast for NW Boxed impairments and supporting strategic forecasts and stress testing
    • Support the team lead to achieve team goals by leading on provisioning interactions with the business, finance and credit risk teams
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
    • Maintain a robust control environment in all impairment processes

    The skills you’ll need

    With an aptitude for analytics and a questioning mindset, you’ll have the ability to identify patterns and analyse data to deliver clear conclusions about the information you’re working with.

    You’ll also find yourself needing to bring others around to your way of thinking, so if you have the confidence and communication skills to be able to do that, then you’re well on your way to becoming a highly valued member of our team.

    As well as this, you’ll need a good understanding of the banking industry, its risk management, and the regulatory requirements and have experience of working successfully with multiple stakeholders.

    In addition, you’ll demonstrate:

    • Excellent analytical skills as well as p revious experience with the development and practical application IFRS 9 provisioning and have a broad awareness of consumer credit risk practices
    • Strong project and task management skills, with the ability to work as a team and with stakeholders
    • The ability to explain technical subject matter to a non-technical audience
    • Experience in supporting and coaching businesses in a consultative role, supporting business development conversations and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to balance objectives
    • Preferable experience of portfolio acquisitions or due diligence work and the ability to be innovative and pragmatic when working under tight timescales
