A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Solution Architect, your day is centered around design, development, and deployment of features for our global engineering platform. You will spend time defining and refining requirements, collaborating with colleagues worldwide, and providing training and support to users. Throughout the day, you will also contribute to develop strategies for implementation of the global tool landscape in Siemens Energy.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- In your role, you will be responsible for technical consulting and architecture as well as supporting the administration of our global engineering platform, serving international projects in oil and gas, marine, fiber sectors and in hydrogen/e-fuel business.
- You will develop new features to enable efficient and automated engineering as well as necessary improvements to existing functionalities.
- As a Solution Architect, you will develop new ideas and concepts, present them internally and also to our business stakeholders
What You Bring
- The basis of your success is a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or diploma) in the field of automation technology, computer science or information technology.
- Building on this, you will convince with coding skills, e.g. in C#, and API knowledge
- Ideally, you have a background in engineering of automation systems for industrial plants
- You have experience in working in internationally staffed and cross-location teams as well as in an agile environment
- You are performance-oriented, able to work under pressure and score points with strong teamwork and communication skills in English
About the Team
As Solution Architect you are part of a team with the overall responsibility of providing a global engineering platform. As the execution counterpart of portfolio management and sales, you will drive the implementation of a cost-efficient and innovative framework for the project execution.
We serve EAD first and foremost, but we also extend our capabilities and support to other business areas or strategic projects in Siemens Energy.
