Implementation
of energy service projects, including long-term service agreements for power
stations in Iraq. It includes parts supply & services for gas turbines,
steam turbines, and generators.
Responsible
for the planning, implementation of service projects, and development of power
plant projects with the following activities:
How You Will Make an Impact
- Implement the project to meet the required quality standards, time,
and budget. - Liaise with the global service team in Dubai
(UAE), Berlin and Erlangen (Germany), Finspong (Sweden), and Newcastle
(UK) - Ensure business success and customer happiness.
- Deliver exceptional service and maintenance to the
client while prioritizing long-term planning for maintenance activities. - Ensure compliance with maintenance work plans, plant
procedures, and local regulations. - Prioritize and coordinate assets of the maintenance
department and prioritize activities. - Support establishing and coordinating a safety and
health system with relevant training for all staff, guidelines, and
procedures. - Maintain close client contact, provide timely reports,
and react promptly to clients’ operational requests. - Follow internal processes and procedures to achieve the
maintenance requirements and monitor their implementation. - Empower and encourage the team members, provide mentorship,
promote staff development, and develop a proficient maintenance team. - Ensure availability of spare parts and consumables.
- Owned an interdisciplinary team concerning outages and
inspection execution. - Cost tracking of all relevant activities during project
execution. - Provide and review project schedules. Implement action
plans as required. - Workforce planning, ordering, and mobilizing of staff.
- Clarify tool needs, plan, order, and ensure immediate
return. - Coordinate preparation of outage documentation.
- Update material requirements and track them during
the outage. - Ensure timeliness invoicing according to project breakthroughs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field or similar
from a reputable university. - PM@Siemens/IPMA Level C or other internationally
recognized Project Management Certification. - Many years of validated experience in the international
power plant business or in-depth knowledge of power plant technology - Experience and comfort with project management, claim, and
change management. - Willing to travel around Iraq during outage
implementation about 75%. - Must be present on-site during project execution and
project outages. - Ability to communicate effectively orally and in
writing, with vital networking, negotiating, and influencing skills. - Excellent business administration, international
contract management, and subcontractor management knowledge. - Experience in international teams, ideally in countries
with challenging security, logistics, and infrastructure environments. - Proficient in English and Arabic.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite.
