    A Snapshot of your Day



    As a Sales Support Operator, your primary responsibility will the resolution of issues associated with a highly transactional Aftermarket Parts business. The goal is to minimize and reduce these issues (and you’ll be a key contributor to that initiative). But the successful resolution of these issues directly impacts the customer’s experience and our financials. As time permits, you will also support the team creating spare parts lists for steam turbines. These spare parts lists are trusted technical references and a key contributor to sales success.     How You’ll Make an Impact


    The specific responsibilities assigned to the position (but not limited to) are:

    • Resolve issues relating to order errors. This includes but is not limited to incorrect parts ordered or delivered, wrong shipping information, tax issues, quality or warranty issues, and more.
    • Coordinate with internal teams such as Quality, Operations, Warehousing, Engineering, Sales, Tax, or Collections teams will be required in order to resolve the issues.
    • Provide reports and metrics on quantity, cause, cost, and corrective actions of the issues.
    • Create “Recommended Spare Parts Lists” (RSLs) for New Unit and Service inventory purposes, scheduled maintenance and major overhauls along with Vital, Ideal, and Preventative (VIP) lists.
    • Drive client satisfaction through responsiveness and ease of doing business – resolve issues quickly and escalate if necessary.
    • Perform other miscellaneous tasks to support the well-being of the Parts Organization.


    What You Bring
    • Bachelor’s Degree or associates degree in business, business administration or related field.
    • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in parts operations, cost accounting and/or customer service or equivalent field.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment, while being diligent and focused on meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials.
    • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP.
    • Flexibility to travel 5%.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

    This job may be in New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: 
    https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html. The base salary range for this position in New York is $61,500 – $114,000 and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary.

    Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
