    As ourTechnical Manager for the Uttoxeter factory, you will work closelywith the Plant Manager & Functional Heads to ensure all aspectsof technical standards and policy are understood, communicated andimplemented. You will be a member of the Uttoxeter Leadership Team(ULT) and part of your role is to deliver the Quality Pillarrequirements for the site, as part of our standardised way ofworking (Intersnack Work Systems).

    As the Site Technical Manager, some ofyour responsibilities will include:

    • Ensure site senior management understands andimplements all technical policies and standards effectively
    • Champion the proactive management ofquality and food safety risks across site change activities,including material, process, product, andpersonnel
    • Collaborate with all site functionsto enhance product quality and consistency, driving improvementsand reducing customer and consumercomplaints
    • Lead the site’s quality pillar andcontribute to building the site’s Integrated Work System (IWS)capability, positively impacting businessgoals
    • Continuously develop CAPEX plans anddrive process improvements that focus on food safety, quality, andoperational efficiency, fostering a culture of learning andinnovation

  • Food Safety andQuality Management Expertise
    – In-depth knowledge offood safety standards (e.g., HACCP/BRC/SALSA) and the ability tomanage quality assurance systems to maintain compliance with legal,regulatory, and customerrequirements
  • Leadership and TeamManagement
    – Strong leadership skills to manage,mentor, and develop technical and quality teams, ensuring highperformance and fostering a culture of food safety across thesite
  • Problem-Solving and RiskManagement
    – Proficiency in identifying andmitigating risks related to food safety, quality, and compliance,along with problem-solving capabilities to address non-conformanceor processinefficiencies
  • Collaboration andCommunication Skills
    – Excellent communicationabilities to work cross-functionally with other departments(production, supply chain, R&D) to ensure technical standardsare upheld and integrated into the wider businessstrategy
