    This Cambridge university is seeking to appoint a Senior Director of Development, Principal & International Giving.

    As the preeminent higher education advancement office in Europe, the organisation is embarking on one of the most ambitious fundraising campaigns in UK history, aiming for a transformational impact through 9-figure (£100m+) gifts. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that collegiate Cambridge can attract and engage high-net-worth philanthropists globally.

    Salary: £117,094 – £143,970

    This role is based in central Cambridge – The organisation practises a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be expected to be in the office at least two days a week.

    Leading a team of 13 and reporting to the Executive Director of Development, you will co-create a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives complex £10m+ gifts. Working creatively and collaboratively, you will ensure that the organisation continues to lead the sector in innovative fundraising approaches that resonate with their diverse alumni and stakeholders.

    Candidates will have extensive experience in leading and inspiring a high-performing fundraising team, generating at least £50m annually with expertise in principal gift fundraising, particularly in securing significant donations of £10m+. The organisation is looking for an individual with strong relationship-building skills with senior leaders and academics.
