    Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons in Food Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to develop their culinary skills, understand the principles of nutrition, and appreciate the importance of healthy eating.
    Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
