    About the role and about you

    Our client are currently recruiting for a Retail Ecommerce Executive to support the Ecommerce Trading Manager in running their online gift shop. This purpose of this role within the Commercial Department is to help them grow sales and profit, thus aiding in the funding needed to support their aim to be a charity for everyone.

    The right candidate will be highly analytical with a creative flair and a great attention to detail. They are looking for a team player with a proactive and can-do attitude, willingness to learn new things, and problem-solving skills. Your key responsibilities will be preparing GA4 and Excel reports, conducting trade analysis and presenting findings, updating the shop s website using Magento2 content management system, preparing social media posts and newsletter emails, writing product copy, and replying to customer queries.

    It is desirable that you have a professional experience using content management system, email marketing platform, social media, CSS, HTML, GA4 and other Google Ecommerce tools, as well as a good understanding of website design principles and UX.

    All your tasks will have a real-life impact on their performance, so a sense of responsibility for the quality of your work is essential. Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude are vitally important too as your role will involve close cooperation with their Warehouse, Buying and Merchandising, Marketing, Systems and Customer Service. An interest in history and heritage and the desire to make a difference in a charitable organisation are a huge asset.
