Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Instrument Field Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hull. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems in various industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of instrumentation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide technical support and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all field operations.
- Document and report on maintenance activities and system performance.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, including level, temperature, pressure, and flow measurements.
- Familiarity with analogue and smart technologies, control valves, and actuators.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
