30 hours per week / Permanent / £31,930 per annum, pro rata / Hybrid working four days including Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Our mission is to help children and young people have a fair chance to be who they want to be. We do this by providing a safe home, increasing life skills and self-confidence, and improving emotional wellbeing and mental health.
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join our central Safeguarding Team, which supports the delivery of high-quality practice across our services, aligned to our service thresholds and compliant with regulatory and legal standards.
The role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our Safeguarding Operational Plan. This includes coordinating safeguarding audits, developing resources, operating a triage service on daily safeguarding alerts raised by staff and championing reporting and analysis via our digital safeguarding management system (In-Form).
The role will be based in either of West Sussex sites in Horsham or Crawley, and they would become the main point of contact for the West Sussex Children & Adult Safeguarding Boards with regard to training and best practice. We do require the postholder to travel to Reed House in Hove at least once a fortnight to attend team meetings.
