Tooling
operations technician is a vital role at tooling facility; a successful
candidate will have to manage the
service, maintenance of tools by repair/replace method with hands- on
inspection & functional capability
testing, includes but not limited to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic &
pneumatic tools. Tooling operations technician will work closely with tooling
operations specialist to foster a strong EHS culture. Should be flexible with working on- site and
visiting project site within Qatar and region.
How You Will Make an Impact
Tools
assessment
·
Visual inspection of tools
(damage/discrepancies).
·
Verification of kit completeness
(assessment).
·
Verify certification (if applicable – lifting
tools).
·
Mark lost/damage on kit content (BoM)
·
Prepare & update L/D report against the
kit for respective project – excel workbook.
Tools
inspections
·
Electrical safety test (if applicable) –
PAT/DGUV-A3
·
Functional/operational testing of tools
·
Verify calibration (if applicable)
·
Prepare & update L/D report against the
kit for respective project – excel workbook.
Tools
calibration
·
Identify
calibration/certification of tools.
·
Report to specialist the
due calibration/certification as per the job requirement/schedule.
·
Support specialist with
technical information to get supplier offer.
Tools refurbishment & refill
·
Tool cleaning, labelling, and packing after
assessment & inspection
·
Moving tools to stock/designated location.
Warehousing
·
Supporting tooling specialist in warehouse management
activities.
What
You Bring
·
3 years associate diploma in Electrical or
Mechanical.
·
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in tool
maintenance & service (hydraulic,
·
Electrical, pneumatic, lifting tools) or
relevant industry.
·
Develop and maintain strong relationships and
a network across all stakeholders.
·
Competent in MS-office suite
