    (position overview)

    The Commercial Data
    Management (CDM) team is responsible for maintaining all of the material master
    data in the PD2 SAP system.  This team
    supports the entire gas service organization with the primary focus on Parts and
    Repairs.  Parts cannot be quoted,
    ordered, stocked, shipped, or invoiced without material master data setup in
    SAP.  Each material master has a unique
    combination of attributes for the different business groups.  The requests for support can come in from
    internal users via the CDM JIRA ticketing tool or via SAP workflow.  This wide range of requests provides many
    opportunities for learning and problem-solving. Also, maintaining data quality
    and aligning it with other SAP boxes (OPP & KSP) is a key strategic
    focus.  We use various tools to perform
    mass updates and improve data quality across the population set.

    How You’ll Make an
    Impact (responsibilities)

    • Focus on
      strategic initiatives around improving data quality and aligning master data
      across SAP boxes between PD2 and OPP / KSP
    • Support
      business process for material master maintenance and system enhancements
    • Support
      requests coming in thru SAP workflow and CDM JIRA ticketing tool
    • Support
      users by answering internal customer questions and providing solutions in a
      timely and accurate manner
    • Follow
      through on assigned tasks and projects, including completing documentation and
      communicating with the team
    • Ask
      questions to clarify requests for accurate disposition and be able to look up
      process documentation for confirmation
    • Prioritize
      urgent requests in order to be responsive to customer needs by the due date
    • Generate
      reports and run queries to analyze data
    • Look for
      opportunities to share best practices and provide training across user groups
    • Coordinate
      activities with other internal departments (i.e. Strategic Pricing, Purchasing,
      Technical Clarification, Order Management, Inventory Management, FAST Logistics
      Center, Marketing, Finance, ECC, Engineering, non-SAP users, etc…) to meet
      customer demands
    • Attend
      weekly CDM meetings, contribute to discussions and complete any assigned action
      items resulting from these meetings
    • Be on
      call after hours, responsible for rotational team cell phone during weeklong
      intervals.
    • Expected
      Travel to US for team collaboration ~5-10%



    What You Bring (requirements)

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 2+
      years of experience in Order Management or related field
    • SAP knowledge and experience working
      with SAP Material Masters is required.
    • Microsoft skills are required (Teams,
      Word, Outlook, Excel, and PPT)
    • General understanding of Order
      Management and Inventory processes.
    • Knowledge of SAP tables and data
      structure
    • Knowledge of drawing/BOM structure
    • Ability to troubleshoot SAP errors
    • Excellent social leadership skills,
      active listening, collaboration, effective communication, persuasion &
      service orientation.
    • Bilingual in Spanish/English is
      preferred, both written and verbal skills.
    • Inquisitive/Self-Motivating, willing
      to take the lead and run with task
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguity with
      little direct supervision 
    • Quick to learn and document business
      processes
    • Team player that supports and backs
      up teammates
    • Willing to share the after-hours CDM
      support calls with team
    • Have a positive “can do” attitude
      focused on solutions
    • Experience working complex projects
      with cross-functional teams
    • Experience processing complex
      business rules, with many exceptions
