Interim Building Surveyor opportunity with a Housing Association
Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a Housing Association as a Building Surveyor on a temporary contract. The Housing Association is responsible for residential properties across Essex and you will be joining a friendly and experienced team committed to delivering excellent service. The contract is for an initial six months, with potential options to extend or become permanent.
Your new role
Working alongside the existing Building Surveying team, you will work on predominantly planned maintenance projects including cyclical maintenance, damp and mould projects, decarbonisation and voids. You may be required to assist with reactive projects from time to time. As part of the role you will be expected to visit the properties to complete condition surveys, produce schedules of works and manage contractors. Hybrid working is available.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you should be an experienced maintenance surveyor and worked with residential properties. Experience of working with both reactive and planned maintenance projects is preferred. Access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role and you will receive paid business mileage in addition to the hourly rate.
