We are seeking for an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our Bid Management as Team Lead (f/m/d) for the Omnivise Digital Portfolio, with a specific focus on developing a strong partnership with the leading sales, product management and execution organizations within the controls and digitalization business area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an expert team of 5-6 employees, developing competitive bids, and driving the successful acquisition of projects related to digital solutions enabling our customers to deal with the challenges of the energy transformation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and manage the bid management team, providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure commitment and efficiency
- Develop and implement initiatives to drive the bid process for the Omnivise digital portfolio, including implementing new technical concepts and execution set ups
- Collaborate with business administration and sales to align on project requirements, technical specifications, and contractual terms
- Be responsible for the preparation of tender documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Siemens Energy standards and guidelines
- Develop strong relationships with internal partners, suppliers, and regional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer happiness
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities related to Omnivise digital portfolio
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent in a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
- Several years of professional experience in a tender or engineering organization, with a focus on controls and/or digital solutions
- Strong understanding of Energy products, solutions, and industry standards
- Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of tendering processes, contract management and project execution
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
