Looking for an M&E supervisor with high voltage qualifications and an electrical background
Location: London & days: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 offAs a supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and services are maintained and function safely. You will oversee a team of engineers, including both day and shift engineers, and ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. A crucial part of this role involves ensuring that all planned maintenance is carried out according to the scheduled dates, with a priority on statutory and mandatory tasks. Additionally, you will ensure that reactive tasks are completed based on their priority.To qualify for this role, you must hold the City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 qualification or an equivalent certificate. An HVAP qualification and relevant high-voltage experience are required, along with knowledge of the IEE 18th Edition Regulations, which is ideal. ISOH managing safety certification is also necessary. Equivalent mechanical qualifications may be acceptable if accompanied by the appropriate level of experience.Previous experience working within a critical environment, such as a data centre, would be advantageous. You must have experience with all types of electrical installation and repair work and be capable of performing all aspects of maintenance and installation as required by the contract. This includes utilising the provided uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE). IT skills are essential for accurately recording work, and a thorough understanding of statutory compliance is required. You must be available to join a call-out rota and hold UK citizenship.
