The Opportunity:
We are on the search for a high performing Commercial Director to run our sales team. This role will primarily manage products, looking after sales generation and customer management for all regions to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Your main focus will include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve individual financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Owning and hitting and exceeding annual sales targets within all regions
+ Accurately forecasting future sales pipelines
+ Developing and executing plans to achieve sales targets in all regions
+ Building sales plans, reports and managing regional and centralised budgets
+ Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
+ Leading the response to tenders and overseeing the full sales process
+ Coaching and mentoring junior staff
+ Keeping up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and leading customers
+ Attending monthly board meetings to present sales strategy and provide sales updates
+ Working closely with the design, brand and operations team to produce compelling bid submissions and convert opportunities
+ Performing all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business as reasonably requested
About you:
+ Proven sales experience with evidence of meeting or exceeding targets
+ Experience of selling large, multi-product contracts to businesses from Request for Pitch, Request for Tender through to the final negotiations
+ Experience overseeing all elements of a large tender – from the design, pricing, logistics and delivery requirements
+ Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
+ Proven track history of success and leading a team
+ Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of organisations, including executive and C-level
+ Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills
