A Snapshot of Your Day
Main work with the supplier on technical and quality aspects. Generation of user documentation such as Technical Conditions of Supply, providing technical assistance to suppliers to achieve compliance with Siemens technical and quality requirements, as well as non-conformance treatment, root cause analysis and troubleshooting in plant.
Follow up of supplier development, evaluation and audits: You will support the supplier development process based on periodic analysis of supplier quality performance, as well as lead audits for continuous improvement and support in supplier quality programs, quality root cause analysis and definition of appropriate supplier risk mitigation measures.

- Assure the quality of materials in conjunction with suppliers
- Develop suppliers for continuous improvement
- Ensure the timely release and evaluation of new and existing suppliers.
- Ensure zero impact to production due to material quality issues.
What You Bring
“Qualifications” speak to the candidate’s attributes and what drives them internally in addition to their skills and work experience.
- Industrial, electrical, mechanical or related engineer grade.
- Professional Experience: 2 years in supplier engineering, supplier development, supplier management (mid level).
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge in Lean Management and Lean tools with suppliers. Problem solving tools. Applied experience in FMEAs. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 270001 and desirable: ISO 31010, MS Office, SAP ERP). Desirable: Lead Auditor in 19011 (current certificate).
- Languages: Professional English
- Skills / Competences: Problem solving, Communication and negotiation skills, Team spirit, Assertiveness.
- Availability to travel. Passport and valid Visa (USA and Canada).
