    A Snapshot of Your Day

    Sitting in the global Data and AI team, you take both a
    strategic and hands on role in building the capabilities needed to keep data
    assets secure, as their usage for analytics and AI grows exponentially. You
    develop and implement a strategy to operationalize the security of and
    controlled access to Siemens Energy data assets in alignment to internal
    Cybersecurity, Privacy and Legal policies. You have a solid understanding of
    the business needs in relation to meeting their data security and data
    compliance obligations when developing decision intelligence. You can implement
    a tailored data security and data access management policies, guidelines and an
    operating model for data governance roles, across business and digital teams,
    to effectively balance between data democratization and protecting confidential
    and sensitive data assets from misuse.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Responsible for definition
      and maintenance of the enterprise Data Security Classification process and
      encourage its adaptability.
    • Develop and release
      guidance for data governance roles in both business and technical teams so
      they know how to make the data assets under their purview secure across
      their lifecycle.
    • Support and govern product
      teams to be compliant to data security and access management requirements
      in their AI and analytics solutions, data platform infrastructure etc.
    • Liaise with cybersecurity,
      privacy and legal counterparts regularly, to ensure end to end compliance
      of data and AI products and solutions to their policies and processes.
    • A key contributor to
      further strengthen company´s response to Regulatory change in data and AI,
      such as EU Data Act.
    • Document and present key
      content (eg KPI results, strategic project outcomes) to senior
      stakeholders
    • Drive/support the ideation
      and approval of data security modernization initiatives (eg automation of
      security checks on data products) that will deliver quantified business
      value.
    • Regularly communicate
      progress and call out obstacles and constraints to management team when
      needed.

    What You Bring

    • Higher education
      qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
    • Min. 12+ years’ professional with primary experience in
      a Data Security and Compliance role, preferably within a global Data
      Office function
    • Experience working in a
      highly complex global business environment that is governed by
      (potentially) dozens of global and local Regulations.
    • Proven track record in
      operationalizing the principles of Security by Design within a decision
      intelligence/analytics and AI environment.
    • Knowledge of technical
      tools that can support data security and access management for decision
      intelligence – including interoperability with the enterprise
      architecture.
    • Knowledge of export
      control compliance and its impact on access to data, good SME knowledge of
      RBAC vs ABAC and when to use which one.
    • Ability to work well in
      diverse teams and actively contribute to an inclusive team culture.
    • Flexibility and growth
      mindset, to change and grow as the team matures
    • You are fluent in both
      spoken and written English, knowledge of German is a plus
    • Understanding of GDPR and
      related European data protection regulations and practices (eg DSGVO).
