    A Snapshot of Your Day 
    As a Supplier Claim Manager at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a detailed framework for managing claims within our Procurement team. You will work closely with collaborators and partners to ensure high-quality and timely delivery from our suppliers. Your responsibilities will include initiating, reviewing, and evaluating claims, enforcing claims against suppliers, and implementing effective policies and procedures. Good problem-solving skills and a drive to succeed are essential for this role. Previous experience in claims management is not required; we value individuals with potential and determination.
    How You’ll Make an Impact 
    • Develop a new supplier claim management framework, processes, and responsibilities for global project procurement based on standard methodologies.
    • Establish a tooling landscape to facilitate claiming through automation, growing transparency on claim demands and progress, including automated reporting.
    • Operate and continuously improve the newly established claim management system in collaboration with project buyers, supplier quality, legal, and other departments.
    • Complete quality or delay-caused claims in collaboration with buyers and provide support in claim resolution through the use of templates, methods, and fact-finding.
    • Ensure clear linkage of claim transparency to supplier-caused NCC reporting and identify & address organizational weak spots regarding claiming.
    • Contribute to the transformation of the global project procurement organization as a member of the global and European leadership team while supporting special strategic topics, such as process improvements, strategic workshops, and commodity strategies. 
    What You Bring
    • Graduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in industrial training.
    • Several years professional experience in quality management, procurement, contract management, project execution, process consulting, or similar functions.
    • Strong capability to develop and structure processes with clearly defined objectives, supported by solid analytical skills.
    • Demonstrated success in completing tasks autonomously and effectively collaborating with higher-level management.
    • Experience in successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams on critical topics and the ability to foster positive relationships within organizations.
    • Excellent communication skills and full working proficiency in English – German language skills are a plus.

    Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
