    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Raise sales invoices and maintain sales forecast spreadsheet
    • Setting up new customer accounts
    • Credit checking customers and maintaining credit limits in bespoke software
    • Input sales data onto invoice discounting portal
    • Invoice discounting bank reconciliation
    • Producing various customer reports
    • Credit control duties including calling & emailing customers chasing overdue accounts
    • Distributing weekly debtor report to relevant departments
    • Liaising with Sales Manager on their customer accounts
    • Taking customer card payments using an online portal
    • Dealing with queries in a professional and efficient manner
    • Assist with monthly sales journal posting
    • Liaise with external auditors where required
    • Support the Finance Manager in achieving objectives

    Skills and experience required:

    • AAT Level 3 as a minimum (Desirable)
    • 3 years exprience working in credit control (Essential)
    • Excellent communication skills
    • High proficiency in Excel
    • Organised and efficient
