    our UK team. This role will contribute to transforming the renewable energy
    landscape and transitioning society toward a more sustainable future.

    These businesses focus on connecting clean and renewable energy sources, like
    Offshore Wind farms and Interconnectors, to both domestic and international
    National Grids.

    The
    Construction Operations Manager will work with the Leadership within Project
    Entity to ensure contract delivery teams perform effectively and meet goals in
    safety, cost, time, quality, and customer metrics.

    • Foster an environment of

    • Maintain effective
      communication with management, staff, and vendors for efficient
      operations.

    • Ensure compliance with
      regulations, legislation, and corporate governance.
    • Achieve or exceed budget
      gross margin, overheads, EBIT, and order intake targets.
    • Manage project commercial
      risks, claims, and contract liabilities.
    • Develop and implement
      training, recruitment, and succession planning to enhance staff
      capabilities.
    • Build and maintain
      long-term customer relationships and resolve complaints promptly.
    • Ensure continuous
      compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, and
      participate in continuous improvement initiatives.


    What
    you bring



    • Formal qualifications to
      Degree level in an Engineering related subject as a minimum requirement.
    • Demonstrable evidence of
      successful project delivery at portfolio level for large complex projects
    • Experience of purchasing,
      negotiations, project and contract management
    • Knowledge of Commercial /
      Contractual issues & Conflict Management, current H&S legislation,
      CDM Regulations & Environmental Regulations.
    • Experience of resource
      management, team management, training, coaching and development
    • Prior work in the energy
      sector preferable with HV and substation experience highly desirable
    • Willingness to travel
      throughout the UK regularly to site/customers and to Manchester for team
      related meetings
