Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per year (pro-rata)
Contract: Full-time, November start through July 2025
We re searching for an empathetic and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a leading Kingston-based secondary school, where fostering a strong sense of community and academic achievement is paramount. Behaviour Mentor About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students across all year groups, helping them navigate personal and academic challenges. You will provide essential support through one-on-one mentoring and small group interventions, reinforcing positive behaviour, self-discipline, and motivation. Working in a supportive, family-like atmosphere, you ll be a key figure in helping students feel valued and supported.
Behaviour Mentor Role Requirements
- Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting, particularly those needing behaviour or emotional support.
- The patience and understanding to handle challenging behaviours with positivity and respect.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to implement strategies tailored to each student s needs.
