️ Role overview:
As the company’s first Business Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in building sales processes from the ground up, collaborating closely with the founder to craft an effective sales playbook. Your primary mission will be to generate and close new business opportunities, leveraging your sales expertise to drive growth. The company boasts a collaborative, growth-oriented culture. The role is seeking the right candidate who can work closely with our client’s customer success team to ensure a smooth hand over ensuring our customer’s experience remains 5 across the process. You will be expected to present and pitch the company’s products and services, ultimately becoming the best person in the company at explaining & pitching the product. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop strategic account lists of target prospect, events, forums, you will provide feedback and help identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook. Through helping to create sales processes as you build them, you shall experiment with different messaging and outbound strategies in order to strategically identify, prospect, and qualify potential customers to spark interest in the company’s technology.
What you’re good at:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Expertise in prospecting and closing deals (£10k-£50k ACV)
- Strong commercial acumen and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and drive change
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented
