Role
- Preparing and adapting learning materials to suit the needs of individual students
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to children with SEN to help them access the curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe and engaged
- Supporting students with their emotional, social, and physical well-being
- Managing behaviour and maintaining a focused, supportive classroom atmosphere
Requirements
- A 2:1 degree
or higher in Psychology
or a related field from a top 20 UK university - Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
- A child-centred approach with a passion for helping children overcome learning challenges
