As an I&C Maintenance Technician, you will play a key part in ensuring the
smooth operation of critical power plant systems. Your day will involve
performing routine inspections, addressing unexpected issues, and executing
preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. You’ll work alongside a skilled
and dedicated team striving for operational excellence and efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance
on instrumentation and control systems to ensure smooth operations. - Carry out periodic calibration of instruments, ensuring compliance with
operational standards and accuracy requirements. - Participate and support in minor and major shutdowns, including
equipment inspections, repairs, and replacements during long outages. - Adhere strict safety and environmental guidelines during all maintenance
activities to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment. - Respond to emergency calls promptly and efficiently as part of a
rotational standby schedule.
What You Bring / skills, capabilities
- A
diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Computer educations is
preferred. - 5
years of hands-on experience in I&C maintenance, with exposure to power
generation being an advantage. - Solid
understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and industrial
automation. - A
motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional
growth. - Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse
teams and stakeholders. - Adaptability
to manage multiple tasks and engage in dynamic, fast-paced environments. - Experience
in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational
goals. - A
focus on safety, quality, and reliability in all maintenance activities.

The O&M Maintenance Team at
New Capital Power Plant plays a critical role in ensuring the success of
Siemens Energy’s goals. Tasked with delivering excellence throughout the 8-year
Operation and Maintenance contract with our client, EEHC in Egypt, the team is
committed to maintaining the highest performance, reliability, and efficiency
standards.
