ASB Officer – Min 2 month temp (Liverpool)
We are seeking an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer on behalf of our client, who are a well-established housing association, to support their team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 2 months in Liverpool.
This is a hybrid role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and paying up to £21.60 per hour with mileage reimbursement from home.
Your new role
- Managing your own caseload of ASB, nuisance, domestic violence, hate crime and other tenancy breaches
- Carrying out investigations, preparing all pre-court paperwork & applications including witness statements and instigating all court action including full injunctions and possession proceedings
- Self-representation in court where required
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, legal representatives and others
- Visiting victims, perpetrators and witnesses to gather evidence and collect statements in preparation of legal cases
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience in an ASB/Enforcement role within social housing, legal processes where representation is required including hearings and pleadings
- Good knowledge and understanding of housing legislation, tenancy & housing management including ASB, crime and disorder
- Experience liaising with and assisting solicitors and legal experts
- Experience of taking witness statements and familiar with relevant legal paperwork & documentation
