    Electrician – Westbury or within 45 min travel – £15 -18 per hour – 40 hour week – Van and Phone provided

    Your new company

    You will be working for a major regional provider of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire and security services for both the commercial and domestic sectors.
    Your new role

    You will be conducting maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems and also installing new electrical systems, including lighting and heating.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing electrical systems in both domestic and commercial environments
    • Ensuring the electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations
    • Using plans, wiring schematics and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects
    • Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, testing and monitoring
    • Assess and order the parts required for a job, completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
    • Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards
    • Identifying electrical problems and repairing escalating problems as required
    • Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety standards

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • Previous experience of working as an Electrician or Electrical Improver
  • Ideally both your City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications or equivalent electrical qualifications (ECS Gold Card)
  • City and Guilds Inspection and Testing Certificate (2391) (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of IEE Regulations
  • Ideally able to demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements
  • Full UK driver’s licence
