Your new company
A social housing provider in Chesterfield is looking for 2 multiskilled operatives to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.
You’ll be forming part of a voids team tasked with upgrading recently vacated properties to bring them back up to a lettable standard asap.
Paid weekly via Hays-
£17.26ph PAYE premium (£15.40ph basic plus £1.86 into holiday fund)
£19ph Umbrella
(NO CIS)
Van provided to use in work hours, uniform provided, power tools provided.
Your new role
The work is to carry out repairs at change of tenancy.
We therefore need operatives who are multiskilled who can complete the majority of works required in a property.
Typical work includes hanging doors, patch plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, replacing kitchen units, replacing window boards, changing locks etc.
What you’ll need to succeed
NVQ level 2 or equivalent
Full UK driving licence & access to own vehicle to get to the depot
Previous maintenance experience (ideally within social housing)
