    Your New Role
    As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead and manage the full mechanical design on projects of all sizes, ensuring best-in-class engineering. You will provide quality control for mechanical engineering projects across all offices, manage project teams, and collaborate with other offices as needed. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Leading and managing full mechanical design on various projects.
    • Providing quality control and project cost control.
    • Managing both project teams and cross-functional teams.
    • Travelling to client and project locations for meetings, surveys, and training.
    • Liaising and collaborating with other offices.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed
    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A minimum degree level in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 6+ years of building services consultancy design experience.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office and experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, and dynamic energy modelling software.
    • Knowledge of commercial sector and BIM experience is a strong advantage.
    • Chartership is desirable.
    • Proven experience in delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.
    • Expert knowledge in mechanical design areas such as water services, heating/LTHW, HVAC, fuel, above-ground drainage, and BMS.
    • Deep knowledge of building regulations and the ability to demonstrate this in design and project lead.
    • Ability to lead projects internally and externally, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.
    • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and commercial awareness.
