Linguistics Graduate Role Overview:
- Provide tailored support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Work with students with a variety of special educational needs, including speech and language challenges
- Support the class teacher in delivering core subject lessons
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Collaborate with professionals to enhance students’ learning outcomes
- Engage students both inside and outside the classroom to support their progress
The Ideal Linguistics Graduate Will:
- Hold a 1:1 or 2:1 degree in Linguistics from a leading UK university
- Have previous experience working with children with SEN
- Be confident in managing behavioural needs and supporting SEND students
- Bring specific experience in speech and language support (preferred)
- Show a strong commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
