Transformation of Industry
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Package Design and Integration
Specialist in Front End Engineering, you will start your day collaborating with
a world-class team dedicated to delivering innovative energy solutions. You
will work on meaningful projects that craft the future of energy, ensuring our
products meet the highest standards and deliver outstanding value to our
customers. Every day, you will engage with cross-functional teams, encouraging
a culture of collaboration and excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support
Bid Management with 3D layouts, general arrangement drawings, weight
estimations, scope of supply descriptions, and review and comment on
technical specifications and customer clarifications via mail or in
technical meetings.
- Provide
recommendations to Demand Management for package cost configuration and
support in developing cost estimates for proposals, considering all
relevant partners, such as Customer Order Engineering, Product Line
Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
- Coordinate
package design configurations with detail engineering across multiple
platforms and engineering teams. Deliver a unified engineering solution
for a project, considering internal design guidelines and project
requirements.
- Prevent
non-conformances by innovatively applying lessons learned and implementing
efficient solutions to proposals.
- Handover
bid projects to Customer Order Engineering and continuously improve the
handover process based on internal client feedback.

- 5+ years
of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas and other Process
Industry applications, through at least one role in Proposals, Customer
Order Engineering, or Product Line Engineering.
- Experience
in integrating rotating and static equipment in compact package designs
for power generation or compression industry, both onshore and offshore.
Also, skilled in developing 3D layouts, including off-skid mechanical
components.
- Proven
knowledge in the product-structure, design, calculation, and specification
of baseplates and package lifting tools, and experience in cost out
initiatives, including related Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier
costs.
- Familiarity
with structural steel design standards for baseplates on large rotating
equipment packages (e.g., gas turbines, motor driven compressors), ability
to calculate foundation and anti-vibration mount requirements, and
knowledge of structural analysis.
- Technical
knowledge of package components such as on-skid piping, coupling guards,
cabling, enclosures, and mechanical items like silencers and strainers.
Also, understanding of compressor and gas turbine auxiliary systems and
how they affect package design.
- Knowledge
and understanding of industry standards, like API, Norsok or others, and
their impact on package design and layout as well as product costing.
