We are seeking a creative Director of Marketing and Digital to drive the strategic direction of Malmaison and Hotel du Vin. As Director of Marketing and Digital, you will develop and execute the marketing strategy for the hotel group’s portfolio, leading both online and offline efforts. This role drives brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth through strategic initiatives, managing a team to deliver innovative campaigns and maintain a consistent brand identity.
What you’ll be doing as Director of Marketing and Digital:
- Design and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue, ensuring alignment with the hotel portfolio’s business goals.
- Maintain consistent brand positioning and messaging across all marketing communications, safeguarding the authenticity of the brand identity both online and offline.
- Manage all aspects of digital marketing, including website optimization, SEO, SEM, email campaigns with customer segmentation, CRM, paid media, and social platforms.
- Lead the production of engaging, on-brand content for various mediums like web, social media, email, and print.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign management, performance tracking, and refinement.
- Supervise the internal Press Office, coordinate with external PR agencies, and implement proactive media, influencer, and communications strategies for positive brand coverage.
- Cultivate existing partnerships and explore new collaborations with suppliers and third parties to expand the customer base and reinforce brand visibility.
- Work with sales and revenue teams to design marketing campaigns that boost hotel occupancy, M&E (Meetings & Events), F&B (Food & Beverage) revenue, and other business areas.
- Mentor and lead a diverse marketing team, fostering growth and performance across roles such as brand managers, digital marketers, and content creators.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, revenue management) and external stakeholders (media agencies, designers, photographers) to ensure cohesive marketing execution.
- Utilise analytics to track campaign performance, gain customer insights, and make data-driven improvements while managing the marketing budget and ROI for all initiatives.

- Success in managing both digital and offline campaigns to boost brand engagement and revenue growth.
- In-depth knowledge of website management, SEO, PPC, CRM, and social media platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional marketing teams while fostering professional growth.
- Results-oriented leader with a creative approach to driving brand growth through innovative tactics.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in content creation, PR, and presentations.
- High competency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools, with a meticulous and methodical approach to detail.
