    Assistant Cost & Management Accountant, temporary, potentially temporary to permanent

    Hays are working exclusively with a successful business who are looking for an Assistant Cost & management Accountant to join their team. This would ideally be temporary with a view to potentially becoming permanent

    Your new role

    Your duties will include:

  • Stocks reconciliations
  • Stocks Valuation
  • Assist with the year-end stock take
  • Assistance with the production/development of the Financial/Management Reporting
  • Assistance with energy provisions and energy expenses monitoring
  • Assistance with the implementation and development of standard costing
  • Assistance with the Budget process
  • Assistance with annual and internal audits
  • Completion of product/customer contribution and profitability analysis
  • Assistance with specific Project work
  • What you’ll need to succeed

    You should have previous experience of assisting in the production of management accounts and additionally, costing experience would be a great benefit but not essential. You should have strong Excel skills, be self motivated with excellent accuracy & attention to detail
