    Financial
    Project Manager at Siemens Energy

    In
    your role as Financial Project Manager you will be responsible for the execution
    of local commercial and financial activities during the sales and
    implementation phase of long-term maintenance contracts for large gas turbines
    in Algeria. You will be doing this in close cooperation with the Project
    Manager and/or Bid Project Manager. Your focus areas will be cost controlling,
    reporting, risk, claim and cash management. In this role you will be in direct
    contact with the customer as well as a large variety of internal departments
    like supply chain management, insurance, tax, legal and logistics.


    How
    You’ll Make an Impact

     

    • Analyze
      tender requirements, identify, manage, and mitigate risks in the commercial
      areas including, currency risks, financial security instruments, terms of
      payment, insurance, export control & customs, and compliance.
    • Lead the
      negotiation of commercial terms and conditions in coordination with the
      relevant departments (Legal, Tax, customs,…).
    • Create
      budgetary and firm bids in close collaboration with the Authorized Bid
      Project Manager and the bidding team.
    • Ensure the
      accuracy of books and record and support the monthly closing, including
      recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP, Project Dash – ensures
      compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local IFRS
    • Ensure all
      related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
    • Support the
      Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed
      with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow
      and assets and financing instruments.
    • Support
      commercial sales for local services and local share for complex LTP´s and fleet
      management contracts
    • Gather and consolidate budget
      data and monitors Actual vs. Plans comparisons.
    • Pursue schedules for budget,
      forecast or KPI reporting, and corresponds with accountable line management.
    • Compile data and information
      to report, to support Professionals and Controlling Management.
    • Perform risk and claim
      management
    • May carry out ad-hoc analyses
      and profitability calculations.
    • Perform the commercial
      preparation of offers to customers

    What
    You Bring 

    • You have a bachelor’s or
      master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
    • Proven Financial Project
      Management experience 1-3 years
    • Knowledge of IFRS and Algerian
      accounting regulations
    • Fluently communicates with
      both team members and management during the project lifecycle.
    • Build and work with
      cross-functional/ international teams (HUB, Headquarters, etc.)
    • Skills: analysis ability,
      accuracy, good communication and interaction ability with both internal and
      external stakeholders
    • Tools: Proficiency in Excel,
      experience with ERP (ideally SAP)
    • Languages: Perfect command of French
      and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
    • Familiar with rules and
      regulations – Compliance, ECC, NCM, RIC
