Snapshot of Your Day
As a Designer (m/f/d) for Secondary engineering, you
will work in the project team to develop the technical solution according to
customer requirements. This includes the entire process, starting with clarifying
fundamental questions, through to the final design of the technical solution,
and ending with the handover to the end customer. You will promptly address any
issues that arise and actively seek improvement opportunities.
How
You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsibility for planning and
engineering of control, protection, control, and auxiliary power cabinets, and
possibly as a sub-project manager for resulting orders - Technical handling of national and international
offers, as well as schedule and budget responsibility in secondary engineering - Support of project management in
calculation and offer preparation - Responsibility for detailed design and
planning of secondary engineering - Management and controlling of external
partners/suppliers - Participation in negotiations with
customers, specialist planners, and suppliers (customer specifications and
technical standards as guidelines)
What
You Bring
- 5 years of experience in secondary
engineering of high or medium voltage systems or products - Knowledge of standards and guidelines for
creating circuit diagrams and 5 years of experience in their application - Experience in electrical controls for HV
switchgear equipment, materials selection, familiar ANSI/IEEE Standard Device
Numbers. - Knowledge/Expierience working with
Softwares as ELCAD, E-Plan or Engineering Base. - Experience in project management, through
working on projects, as well as in customer support and participation in
“digital” project teams - Fluent English written and spoken.
- Strong communication and technical skills
in interdisciplinary exchange with other technicians/engineers, as well as
willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
