    About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client, a Tier 1 contractor working on a significant Water Project in Shrewsbury. This role is outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate of £400-£450.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the commissioning process for water treatment and distribution systems.
    • Ensure all systems and components are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
    • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design and safety standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning phase.
    • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on commissioning activities and outcomes.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer, preferably in the water industry.
    • Strong knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications.
    • Willingness to work on-site in Shrewsbury.
