As a Senior Data & AI Expert, you will play an important role in understanding our data landscape and leveraging AI to extract value and enhance our data. Your day will involve collaborating with various departments to identify opportunities for digital innovation, developing and implementing strategies to enhance our digital capabilities, and providing training and support to ensure successful adoption of new technologies. You will work on meaningful projects that have a significant impact on our team, customers, and the overall mission of Siemens Energy Gas Services Central. Expect to work in a dynamic and collaborative team culture that values creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead AI and data-driven projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable outcomes. Develop practical, real-world solutions using best practices and the latest advancements in data and AI technologies to address organizational challenges
- Analyze the organization’s data landscape to identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies to enhance data value and drive business insights
- Design and deliver training programs aimed at improving digital literacy and competence across the organization, focusing on data and AI technologies
- Continuously improve the existing knowledge base on data and AI to promote self-learning and foster a culture of innovation within the technology environment
- Support and develop a community around data technologies, serving as a dedicated point of contact for issues related to cybersecurity, business requirements, and data privacy
- Identify and implement cross-product line projects, providing expert consultation and support on all data and AI-related topics to ensure cohesive strategy execution
What You Bring
- Degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Technology, with proven experience in digital transformation and innovation, focusing on AI, data, and cloud technologies, including extensive expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing and integration.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and their application in a business context, along with experience using AI on large data sets to extract insights and drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects successfully, showcasing a track record of effective implementation and delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and strategic mindset, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
